1997 was a great year landing the Bar M daily residency for Manumission.   I adapted to play the kind of deep house & funk,  that would take me on occasions diversely away from my normal banging club nights!.

At the time I presumed this to be  the art of  playing music which I didn't really care for, but with the  explosion of Ibiza's terrace mania in the subsequent years, it proved a valid lesson.  Playing at Bar M for Manumission to me was about being on the floor amongst the workers, the natural entertainers who struggled to make a living but gave everyone so much fun by their crazy antics.

That year I went on to play all over the island, for 'Tribe' on a packed Amnesia terrace, Café Mambo and the Savannah Beach Bar for Miss Moneypenneys, the San An hot spots like Play 2, Nightlife, Kaos and Exstasis, always getting the most enjoyment from playing by the Kanya poolside & Mediterranean sea.

1998 was a hard year, getting a mixed responsibility position at the ill fated Pushca meets Trade, playing at Privilege was obviously a high point of the season and guesting for Fantazia in their massively successful one off party at Privilege in August a bonus. The season went on with me guesting at many bars including all of the last years plus the Bora Bora,New Star, La Escollera, Tahiti & Bali Beach Bar & Submission at El Divino. But the icing on the cake came late in September, fulfilling what must be every DJ’s dream, it had to be playing inside the dome at Space for 'Trade'  in the closing party in tribute to the late Tony De Vit’.

1999 Ibiza season reduced to only three weeks at the beginning of September, Playing for the first time in Es Paradis with Sunnyside Up & the Clockwork Orange boys, then setting off to look at new horizons in Ayia Napa Cyprus.  Napa was bubbling with potential and  a packed but under rated   "Ice Ku" The   Oi Oi & Sunnyside Up crew  raised the roof ! what a place to play, can you imagine if you had to listen to garage six nights a week!!, well then you can imagine how up for it the crowd were when we played there!.

2000  onwards  I was unable to take full time residency in Ibiza because of extensive weekend commitments in the UK. This left  me the enviable task of a flight out once monthly for a guest slot at Es Paradis, holding court at the only water party which  on the Island.

Always touching down to play at Bar M, Eden's Rouge's Gallery & QPQ then it was hard on the holiday spirit whilst promoting  & distributing the new Summer Sampler  mixes of Feelgood and Gimmesome which went on getting Saturday night radio1 play from Judge Jules.  Bagging Bora Bora Carry On parties  were massive early mornings at  at Space then a right old carry on at Bora Bora on through the night. Also the rotational appearances at the back room Judgement Sunday parties at Eden.
